Find the Leak. Fix It Right. No Guessing.

A water stain on your ceiling, an unexplained spike in your water bill, or the sound of running water when nothing is turned on all point to a hidden leak. How We Find Hidden Leaks

Not every leak announces itself with a puddle on the floor. Many leaks hide inside walls, beneath concrete slabs, or in underground supply lines where they can run for weeks before you notice. We use electronic amplification equipment and acoustic listening devices to pinpoint the leak location with minimal disruption to your home.

Our plumbers also use thermal imaging and pressure testing when the situation calls for it. The goal is always the same: find exactly where the leak is before cutting into anything.

Slab Leak Diagnosis and Repair

Slab leaks are among the most stressful plumbing problems a homeowner can face. A copper supply line or drain pipe running beneath your concrete foundation develops a pinhole or crack, and water seeps into the soil or up through the slab. You might notice warm spots on the floor, mildew smells, or cracks in the foundation.

Once we locate the leak, we walk you through the repair options and give you a fixed-rate quote for each one.

Spot Repair

If the leak is isolated and the rest of the pipe is in reasonable condition, we open a small section of the slab, repair or replace the damaged segment, and patch the concrete. This is the least disruptive option when the pipe has not deteriorated system-wide.

Pipe Rerouting

When the pipe under the slab has multiple weak spots or is corroded throughout, cutting into the slab in several places does not make sense. Instead, we abandon the old line and run a new one through the walls or attic to bypass the slab entirely. This avoids repeated slab cuts in the future.

Epoxy Pipe Lining

For drain lines with small cracks or joint failures, epoxy lining can seal the damage from the inside without excavation. For severe drain damage, pipe bursting pulls a new HDPE pipe through the old one, replacing it completely. This works well for certain types of damage but is not a fit for every situation. We let you know if it is an option for your home.

Supply Line and Underground Leak Repair

Leaks in your main water supply line or underground irrigation feeds can run up your water bill fast.

We locate the leak, expose the damaged section, and either repair or replace the affected pipe. If your main supply line is old galvanized or polybutylene, we may recommend replacing the full run to head off future failures.

Signs You May Have a Hidden Leak

Water bill higher than normal with no change in usage. The sound of running water when all fixtures are off. Warm or damp spots on the floor. Mildew or musty smells in rooms with no obvious moisture source.

Cracks appearing in your foundation or walls. Low water pressure that developed gradually. If any of these sound familiar, a leak detection visit can tell you what is going on.

Frequently Asked Questions

We use electronic amplification and acoustic listening equipment to pinpoint leaks through walls, floors, and concrete slabs. In some cases we also use thermal imaging or pressure isolation tests. The goal is to find the exact location before cutting into anything.

It depends on the repair method. A spot repair on an accessible section of pipe costs less than a full reroute through the walls. We diagnose the leak, explain the options, and give you a fixed-rate quote for each approach before any work begins.

Many homeowner’s policies cover the damage caused by a slab leak (drywall, flooring, etc.) but not the plumbing repair itself. We recommend calling your insurance company once a slab leak is confirmed. We can provide documentation of the diagnosis and repair for your claim.

Common signs include warm spots on the floor, the sound of running water when nothing is on, a sudden increase in your water bill, mildew smell near the foundation, or visible cracks in the slab. A professional leak detection visit can confirm it.

Pipe rerouting means abandoning the leaking pipe under the slab and running a new line through the walls, ceiling, or attic to bypass the slab entirely. It is often the better long-term solution when the existing pipe is old or corroded throughout.

We focus on residential plumbing systems, including the main water supply line from the meter to the house and any underground plumbing lines serving the home. For dedicated irrigation system leaks, a landscape or irrigation specialist is usually the better fit.
